Nick and Matt play in the HD remake of the classic hit, Age of Empires 2. As the most unlikely Allies since Mr. T and Mr. Rogers, these two battle the Mongols and the Chinese. They’re so pro.

Hey guys, Matt here for WeGotCake. At E3 2013 we got a glimpse at the new Super smash Bros being developed for the Wii U and 3DS. With the announcement that Megaman, Wii fit Trainer, and the Animal Crossing Villager will appear in this game, many people are speculating just what other characters both 1st and 3rd party will appear in this new installment. So, today I’ll be weighing in on my top 10 list of characters for the new Super Smash Bros. Let’s get started:
at Number 10, I have a character that i haven’t seen anyone request for this game. Simon Belmont. The Famous whip-master who vanquishes evil and launched the Castlevania franchise into greatness. Although he’s a Konami character, we’ve already seen Solid Snake so Simon wouldn’t be too impossible to acquire. Simon is also a character who was born on the NES in the 8-bit era. He could use his iconic whip and his sub weapons, and his final smash could even be the Grand Cross, although that move belongs to later characters of the franchise.
Number 9 on my list is another character born in Nintendo’s hay-day, Little Mac from Punch Out! He’s got what it takes to hold his own against Mike Tyson
why not Nintendo’s finest? He’s a boxer who has trained to over come great odds and beat fighters larger and faster than him. He can use different types of punches
and his final smash could be a barrage of fists ending in a haymaker.
Number 8, is one of my favorite GBA characters, Isaac from Golden Sun. We’ve already seen Isaac as an assist trophy in Brawl so what’s stopping him from becoming a fighter in the Smash Universe. Isaac has the power to use Psynergy, a psychic force that can generate hands to push and grab and control elements. He also has the control of little monsters known as Djinns who are actually Gods and Goddesses. he can combine the powers of Djinn to unleash more powerful attacks after summoning. Among these devastating attacks is Judgement, used by combining the power of 4 earth Djinn. this is the strongest summon attack in-game, and would likely be his Final Smash.
Number 7 is Krystal from Star Fox Adventure. Although there were 3 Star Fox characters in Brawl, I hope that Wolf will be removed for Krystal as I feel the game
needs to have less “clone” characters and Krystal is the answer to the Fox clones. Instead of using guns and the tech that Fox and Falco use she could wield the Staff
from Star Fox Adventures. The staff can control Fire, Ice and in some instances Gravity, used to help reach high cliffs. Her final smash could be to assault her enemies or something involving Krazoa spirits.
Number 6 is Chrom from Fire Emblem Awakening. He would be higher on my list but my most used character in Brawl is Ike and I would be sad to see him go. That said,
Chrom would be a worthy replacement for Ike. His play style would be similar to Ike but instead of focusing so much on fire he could be more focused on other elements. Chrom could also have a final smash that’s centric to the ending of Awakening, which I won’t spoil for those of you who haven’t beaten the game.
Number 5, Pokemon Trainer Gold, to replace Red. Gold’s pokemon would be Chikorita, Quilava, and Feraligatr. The moves the pokemon use would be similar to Red’s pokemon, but i would like to see each pokemon get their own final smashes, Quilava, for instance could have Blast Burn. The only reason I feel Gold should be in the game is because the representation of Pokemon trainers should be updated and Gold is my favorite trainer design wise.
Number 4, Mewtwo…. or well, Mewthree? Whichever form they choose to add into the game. I enjoyed playing as Mewtwo in Melee and feel i was ripped off when Lucario, this new pokemon was given to me instead. Don’t get me wrong Lucario is alright in his own way, but nothing will beat that moment of pure happiness for having caught him in Pokemon Red/Blue, or even the sheer awesomeness that Mewtwo showed in the first pokemon movie. He turned that freaking Ash into stone!
Numer 3 is Crono from Chrono Trigger. Chrono Trigger is one of the most beloved RPGs in history, and guess what console had it? Super Nintendo. The game even got a recent remake for the DS. C’mon, Crono is a pretty awesome character, he travels back and forth through time to save the world, he was drawn by Akira Toriyama, and he has alot of potential. He wields a sword, which some people may say is bad considering Link and the Fire Emblem cast use swords, but c’mon, swords are badass. He uses tech that is centric on Lightning, and his Final smash could be his Luminaire attack which creates an immense shock-wave electrifying everything on screen.
Number 2, Zael from Last Story. This is a character from a game Americans had to fight to get localized. Why wouldnt we want the Protagonist. Although he’s a swordsman, it’s not like this is an official list, and like i said before, SWORDS ARE BADASS. But in all honesty, Zael is a quick swordsman who can unleash powerful wind type attacks, these attacks can be amplified through his teammates. He has an inherent need to protect his friends, giving him the Gathering ability which draws enemies to him. Kinda like Kirby’s final smash.
Finally, at the Number 1 spot on my list, Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia. This character is my favorite character from the Tales series by Namco… Wait, Namco, like as in Namco-Bandai, co-developers of the new Smash bros? Yeah, that’s right, this gives him a larger chance to be implemented. It also helps that Tales of Symphonia debuted on Gamecube. Lloyd uses 2 blades and can shoot Demon Fangs, ground based projectiles, along with his sword rain, a flurry of stabs, tempest, a flying somersault, and Beast an area attack that knocks opponents away. Tales games are known for the combat and recently a big part of that combat is the use of team specials, which include every team member. Possibly show Lloyd,
Collette, Genis and Rayne do one of these as a Final Smash.
